BLACK LIVES MATTER

As a Latino immigrant in the U.S I experienced discrimination first-hand and felt a great need to address it in my artwork. Today, every piece I create is a vivid reflection and portraiture of how fucked up the world is with immigrants, knowing that we all come from somewhere else or our ancestors did. I will not stand silent for something that happens in the U.S and also Colombia, where the richest region in natural resources , Chocó, is also the poorest. It is also predominantly afro-descent communities. This is not a coincidence.
